Shahi Paneer Recipe

Preparation Time: 15 mins
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

    * Paneer - 100 gm
    * Cashew (Kaaju) - Handful
    * Cream - (1 small cup)
    * Onion - 1 (medium size)
    * Tomato - 1 (medium size)
    * Green chilli - 1
    * Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
    * Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
    * Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
    * Coriander powder - 1 tsp
    * Garam Masala - 1 tsp
    * Salt - as needed
    * Oil - a little

Directions:

    * Heat oil in a kadhai.
    * Cut paneer into small cubes. Fry over medium heat until light brown.Keep the paneer pieces aside.
    * Keep the cashew in water for 2-3 minutes to soften them.
    * Grind onion, tomato, green chilli in a blender. Fry the mixture.
    * Grind Cashew separately in a blender and make a fine paste.
    * Fry the mixture in the remaining oil until golden brown and oil starts separating.
    * Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala. Saute for 1-2 minutes.
    * Reduce the heat and cook until the gravy becomes thick.
    * Finally add paneer cubes and 1 tbsp cream. Heat for 5 minutes.
    * Garnish shahi paneer with cream and dry fruits and coriander leaves.

Bread Poha Recipe


Preparation Time: 13 mins
Cooking Time: 7 mins
Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

    * 1 Onion (medium sized)
    * 1 Tomato (medium sized)
    * few kadi patta's (curry leaves)
    * 1 green chilli (medium)
    * ½ tsp rai (mustard seeds)
    * Cooking oil to fry
    * 4-5 pieces of sliced bread, cut in to 1/2" squares
    * 1 tsp salt
    * ¼ tsp red chilli powder, coriander powder
    * ½ tsp amchur powder or 1 tsp lemon juice

For The Garnish:

    * 1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)





Directions:

   1. Finely chop onion, tomato & green chili.
   2. Sprinkle bread pieces with water (do not soak in water as the breads should not be too wet) so as to make the breads soft enough to be made pieces of.
   3. Heat oil in a pan & add mustard seeds. When they start spluttering, add curry leaves, chopped green chili & onion.
   4. Fry till the onions are golden & then add chopped tomato & add all the spices.
   5. When the masala is cooked add the bread to the pan & fry for about 5 minutes.
   6. Add lemon juice or amchur powder and mix well.
   7. Garnish with coriander leaves & serve hot.

Aloo Bhindi Recipe



Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

    * Aloo (Potato) - 1 (medium size)
    * Bhindi (Okra) - 250 grams
    * Chopped Onion - 1 (medium size)
    * Green chilli - 1
    * Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
    * Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
    * Coriander powder - 1 tsp
    * Salt - as needed
    * Mustard - 1 tsp
    * Oil - a little

Directions:

    * Peel the skin of the potato & cut into small pieces.
    * Cut bhindi into 1/2 inch long pieces.
    * Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes & bindi separately. Keep them aside.
    * In a separate pan heat little oil & put mustard seeds. When it splits, add onion pieces. Fry until it turns to slight brown. On a low fire, keep it for 10 minutes.
    * Then add the aloo & bhindi. Add chilli powder,needed salt and other masala.
    * Stir till masala and vegetables are properly mixed.
    * Serve aloo bhindi masala with chapati or roti
